Descrição: To observe and examine the interference which takes place when light reflects from the surfaces of a thin film. Using two optically flat glass plates to create a thin film of air, interference will be observed when the plates are illuminated with monochromatic light. Newton’s rings will also be observed by replacing one of the flat glass surfaces with a convex surface.
