Terminal Velocity: Air Resistance on a Free-Falling Body
Tempo de Duração: 3:21 minutos
Descrição: To observe the effects of air resistance acting on a free-falling body and the associated state of terminal velocity. With the aid of stroboscopic photography a relatively light sphere is observed as it falls through the air. When compared to ideal point particles or objects falling through a vacuum, the stroboscopic position-time record reveals that air resistance causes falling objects to accelerate very differently.
